Bouncy Castle Driver / Installer – Cottle’s Castles
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Bouncy Castle Driver / Installer to join our team delivering and installing inflatables across Essex and East London.
This role involves driving a long wheelbase van, delivering equipment to customers, setting up inflatables safely, and collecting them at the end of the hire period.
No experience is required as full training will be provided, however the role is physically demanding and requires regular heavy lifting.
Duties
• Load equipment onto the van
• Deliver bouncy castles, soft play and inflatable equipment to customers
• Set up equipment safely and efficiently
• Provide friendly customer service on site
• Return later to collect and pack down equipment
• Complete a short end-of-day report
Working Hours
Most work takes place on Fridays, weekends and Mondays, although occasional weekday jobs may occur.
This role may include:
• Early starts (6–7am)
• Late finishes (9–10pm) during peak season
• Busy summer weekends with multiple jobs per day
Work is casual and flexible, depending on bookings.
Typical hours:
• Up to 35 hours per week during peak season
• Around 16 hours per week contracted (with more hours available in summer)
Requirements
Applicants must:
• Hold a full clean UK driving licence
• Have at least 5 years driving experience
• Have no insurance claims within the last 5 years
• Live within 5 miles of Collier Row, Romford
• Be physically fit and able to lift heavy inflatables (100kg+)
• Be punctual and reliable
• Be flexible to accept last-minute bookings
• Be comfortable speaking with customers
You must also have:
• A smartphone with WhatsApp and navigation apps
• Availability for weekends, bank holidays and school holidays
Pay
• £17 per hour for the right candidate
• Performance-based annual pay rises
